About Catherine Schneider
Catherine Schneider is a self-taught abstract artist based in Minneapolis, MN. She is inspired by modern art and design, graffiti/street art and urban decay. Her painting style is distinctly bold, multi-layered and typically colorful with script forms being a central theme for many recent pieces. She uses multiple mediums and application methods, with most paintings having an acrylic base, and specializes in larger format and diptych/triptych paintings on stretched canvas. Catherine has shown her work in several locations, sold many paintings to private collectors across the United States and applies her style to other formats like ceramic tiles of which she has sold hundreds of examples.
